What is Global Market ?

The Global stock market is a set of exchanges and markets who trade in equities, derivatives, bonds, commodities and various other securities across the globe.

There are sixteen stock exchanges in the world that have a market capitalization of over US$1 trillion each. They are sometimes referred to as the "$1 Trillion Club". These exchanges accounts for 80% or more of global market capitalization.

In short we can say that Global Market means foreign (World) Market Exchange. Mostly Following foreign (world) share market directly has Impact on Indian share market i.e. NSE / BSE.

New York Stock Exchange(NYSE)

This is leading stock exchanges of U.S (United States of America ). The New York Stock Exchange is an American stock exchange located in New York. It is by far the world's largest stock exchange with market capitalization of its listed companies at more than US$30.1 trillion.


The Nasdaq Stock Market (Nasdaq)

The Nasdaq Stock Market, also known as Nasdaq, is an American stock exchange located at One Liberty Plaza in New York City. It is ranked second on the list of stock exchanges by market capitalization of shares traded, behind only the New York Stock Exchange.


Dow Jones Industrial Average

The Dow Jones Industrial Average, Dow Jones, or simply the Dow, is a stock market index that measures the stock performance of 30 large companies listed on stock exchanges in the United States.


Singapore Exchange Limited (SGX)

Singapore Exchange Limited, also called as SGX is an investment holding company located in Singapore and provides different services related to securities and derivatives trading and others.


Nikkei Index

Nikkei is the leading and most-respected index of Japanese stocks. It is a price-weighted index composed of Japan's top 225 blue-chip companies traded on the Tokyo Stock Exchange.
The main trading hours for the Japan 225 index are between 9:00 – 11.30, and 12:30 – 15:00 (GMT+09:00) .


Hang Seng Index (HSI)

The Hang Seng Index is the stock-market index in Hong Kong. Started in 1969, It is used to record and monitor daily changes of the largest companies of the Hong Kong stock market and is the main indicator of the overall market performance in Hong Kong. The Hang Seng Open by 09.30 A.m. and close at 04.00 p.m.


London Stock Exchange

London Stock Exchange is a stock exchange located in the City of London, England. As of April 2018, London Stock Exchange had a market capitalization of US$4.59 trillion. It was founded in 1571, making it one of the oldest exchanges in the world. Popular Indices are FTSE 150 Index, FTSE 250 Index. This is the part of European Stock Exchanges


Euronext

Euronext is the largest stock exchange in continental Europe. With around 1,500 listed companies worth €4.1 trillion in market capitalization as of end July 2019. Euronext was founded in 2000 by the merger of the exchanges in Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels.


Frankfurt Stock Exchange

This the world's 10th largest stock exchange by market capitalization. Located in Frankfurt, Germany, the Frankfurt Stock Exchange is owned and operated by Deutsche Börse AG and Börse Frankfurt Zertifikate AG.
Almost 90 per cent of turnover is generated in Germany, namely at the two trading venues Xetra and Börse Frankfurt. The Frankfurt Stock Exchange is the largest of the seven regional exchanges. The trading indices are DAX, DAXplus, CDAX, DivDAX, LDAX, MDAX, SDAX, TecDAX, VDAX and EuroStoxx 50.

All the US based markets like New York Stock Exchange(NYSE), The Nasdaq Stock Market (Nasdaq) etc open after the closure of our Indian market around 7.00 p.m and close by 1.30 a.m at per Indian standard time. Our Nse takes cues from all this market when it opens at 09:15 am for trading in India.

Europe Market open's between 12.00 p.m. to 1.30 p.m. The movement of Europe market has also great impact on our Indian market.

Any changes in the indices of the above major market listed above have great impact on Indian Stock Market. Our Indian market opening price depends upon the SGX Nifty and Global Market. If Global market running weak / down or its bearish, our Nse Nifty is also likely to opened down, unless some very important and good domestic factors /news in India. Same way if the Global market are in bullish trend our NSE Nifty will also open strong and will trend higher, again if there is no negative news that impacts our economy.
