  • Scalper : Prices of stocks and other securities change constantly during the day. They move every time an order is placed. There’s a way that traders can profit from those small movements: it’s called scalping by Scalpers. Scalper trader is a trader who trades very quickly for small gains. He uses 1 min to 5 minutes chart and trade accordingly. This is more risky then the day trading as its done in very quick time.
  • Swing Trader : Swing trading is a activity in Nse markets where a stock is held or shorted for one to four days so that price changes or 'swings' happen during that time. Swing traders use technical analysis to look for stocks with short-term price momentum. These traders aren't interested in the fundamental or intrinsic value of stocks, but rather in their price trends and patterns. Swing trader trades on 1 hour to 4 hour chart depending on the market trend.
  • Positional Trader : Positional traders take a long term view of the share market and trade using weekly or daily charts. Positional stock trader is traders who hold a position for the long term may be 2-3 month or even years in the Nse market. Also termed as Long-term traders, they are not concerned with short-term fluctuations in the share market.
